After the huge success of the 2020 version of the iPhone SE, Apple is preparing the return of the expected model with less prohibitive price for the first half of 2022, according to TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
The next version of iPhone SE will however leave many fans quite disappointed since it should not present relevant changes to its design, keeping the format in everything similar to the iPhone 8.
The big news will be the inclusion of a 5G modem that will make this the cheapest iPhone on the market equipped with the new technology that has been the brand’s flagship in recent months.

By also points to the inclusion of the A13 Bionic processor in the next iPhone SE, something that will put it on the level of more modern smartphones and with some more advanced features.
As for the screen, the iPhone SE 2022 will continue to offer the same size of 4.7 inches, and the idea of using a display with thinner frames like the one seen in the image above seems abandoned.
Another analyst, Ross Young, believes that the processor of this new model will be the even more powerful A14 Bionic paired with a 5G Snapdragon X55 modem like the one we have in the iPhone 12 family.
Both rumors therefore point to Apple’s continued bet on 5G technology, but the iPhone SE 2022 should be a much less bold proposition than initially anticipated by various industry-related sources. The only thing that should remain attractive is the price, and this model is expected to continue to be the cheapest of the brand.
